The Stonemason's Wife
"I'm having problems with a stonemason's widow. Could you arrange for her to meet with an unfortunate--and lethal--accident?"

"Her husband died while working on the walls of my keep. The compensation she's asking for his death is exorbitant!" he/she shakes her head.
"The widow's grieving for her husband, that's all. I'll find other ways to pacify her."

"I'll kill her. I haven't killed anyone yet today, why not?"

[Your Sworn Sword] discovers the wife's affair, and false grief. "Your act was convincing," [Your Friend] says, sending her away.
[Your Sworn Sword] plays matchmaker, and the widow is soon ensconced with a prosperous glassmaker. [Your Friend] is relieved and pleased.

[Your Sworn Sword] puts poison in the widow's cup, and she's found dead the next day. "Now that's handled," [Your Friend] says, content.
[Your Sworn Sword] lures the widow into an old shed, then collapses it. [Your Friend] is pleased to hear nothing of the stonemason again.
[Your Sworn Sword] gives arms to local bandits to attack the widow on the road. She is killed, and [Your Friend] is pleased.
[Your Sworn Sword] pursues the widow off a cliff, then returns to [Your Friend] with the news. "How unfortunate," [he/she] says.
