You find Groat as you approach the Redthorn lands. "The Ivied Citadel is in flames! Lady Redthorn has loosed wildfire upon her own castle!"

Results

Groat nearly gets singed in the fire a few times, but some trapped smallfolk are saved.
Your men carry away some of what remains of House Redthorn's useful weapons and implements, keeping it out of the hands of desperate survivors.
You and Groat easily rescue the Redthorn treasury from the advancing wildfire, carrying the hot coins inside a couple of curtains doubling as money bags.
