Each item has a Name (e.g. "Elite Phalanx"), but some crafted items will have a Prefix (e.g. "Strong"), appearing before the Name; and some will have a Suffix (e.g. "of War"), appearing after the Name. On rare occasions, crafting will result in a "superb" item, which has both a Prefix and a Suffix. Keep in mind that getting a "superb" result only guarantees both a Prefix and a Suffix, it does not guarantee that either of them will be much of an improvement, or even related to the core item itself.
