Jon returns to Councillor Lorenzo's chambers, now armed with knowledge. "My offering?" asks the councillor, more intense than usual. "Was it made?"

Angrily ask whether he ever had any intention of giving you a loan.

Councillor Lorenzo

Lorenzo composes himself. "The decision is based on many factors, including trust. Now that I know you..." He gives a shrug that could mean anything.

Tell him you're done letting him jerk you around, and start to walk out.

Demand your loan now, or you'll tell the Iron Bank about his dealings with Faceless Men.
