Red Mountains

The Red Mountains are an extensive mountain range in the south of Westeros. They form a barrier between Dorne and the Stormlands to the north-east and the Reach to the west and north-west. There are two major passes through the mountains, the Prince's Pass and the Boneway.

Boneway

a major pass that runs through the Red Mountains, connecting Dorne and the Stormlands.
Prince's Pass

one of the principal overland routes from the Stormlands to Dorne located in the Red Mountains.
The Torentine

a river in Dorne which flows south from the western Red Mountains to the Summer Sea. It is formed by the confluence of two rivers near Blackmont.
The Wyl

a river in the Red Mountains of northern Dorne flowing eastward past the Boneway to the castle of Wyl and the Sea of Dorne.

a castle in Dorne located in the western Red Mountains on the shores of the Torentine. Starfall guards the western arm of Dorne.
Tower of Joy

a round tower in the northern edge of the Red Mountains of Dorne located in the Prince's Pass. The tower was named by Rhaegar Targaryen. He used it as a hideout where he kept Lyanna Stark during the events of Robert's Rebellion.
Vulture's Roost

a ruined stronghold in Dorne located near the source of the Wyl river deep in the Red Mountains.
Wyl

a stronghold in Dorne located east of the Boneway at the mouth of the Wyl.
Yronwood

a castle in Dorne located at the mouth of the Boneway pass acting as a guardian against intruders.
